This trip is intended to give you a summarized experience Uganda can offer within the shortest time possible. Prime parks are carefully chosen to increase opportunities of encountering all the Big 5 starting with the Rhinos up to the last animal. Primates include but not limited to Gorillas and chimpanzees because every forest or sanctuary explored has different species to offer. This trip is crowned by a stay at the most beautiful lake in Africa, Lake Bunyonyi.
Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Depending on the time of arrival, you can choose to have a detailed briefing of your travel itinerary. However you can go into the datils the next morning.
Overnight: Casia Lodge
Today, you will drive to the west to one of the most loved national parks. You will take a walking Safari to track the White Rhinos. You will have lunch along the way. Before heading to lodge, drive to the top of Murchison Falls, You can take a walk to the bottom of the falls and enjoy the amazing views. This is the most scenic part of the park and Murchison Falls is the most powerful waterfall in the world.
Overnight: Parkside Safari Lodge
Today, you will have an early morning game drive. You will have an opportunity to search for elephants, hartebeests, antelopes and different lots of birds. On a good day, you are able to see the lions and leopard in one drive. After lunch, you will explore River Nile up to the bottom of the Falls where Queen of Africa Movie of 1951 was shot. You can choose to have an extra evening game drive or relax in the evening.
Overnight: Parkside Safari Lodge
Today, you will drive to the top of falls. After enjoying this magnificent spot, proceed south to the jungle of Kibale. You will have lunch along the way. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk through the community after the long drive.
Overnight: Kibale Forest Camp(Canping)
Today begins with Bigodi Swamp walk offers some of the finest birding and monkey viewing in Uganda. This 4.5km circuit offers an opportunity to see forest and swamp special and a good number of monkeys. After here, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National park for a game drive in search of wildlife. Lunch en-route.
Overnight: Pumba Safari Cottages
After breakfast, drive to Kalinzu forest managed by National Forest Authority where you will do chimpanzee tracking. After Chimpanzee tracking, you will have an UWA boat cruise and a game drive there after. You have a chance to see elephants, lions, leopard and many more!
Overnight: Pumba Safari Cottages
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Bwindi NP. On your way, you will take a drive though Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth famous for its tree climbing lions. After the drive you will immediately proceed to Bwindi and you will have lunch along the way.
Overnight: Buhoma Haven Community Lodge
After an early breakfast, you will drive to the briefing point in the forest of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to get to be enlightened about your adventure with the Mountain Gorillas. You are advised to carry enough drinking water and a lunch box. At a cost of 15 US dollars, you can get a potter to carry your bag and give you a hand in slippery or steep parts of the forest. After the briefing, you are distributed into groups of eight and led by a park ranger into the forest where you will spend one hour with the gentle giants. A rain gear is important considering that Bwindi is a tropical rainforest. You will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi where you will take a swim in Uganda’s most beautiful lake or take a walk to enjoy nature and explore surrounding communities.
Overnight: Bunyonyi View Resort
After your beautiful stay at Lake Bunyonyi, you will drive back to Entebbe to embark on your journey back home. You will have an opportunity to cross the Equator and do some souvenir shopping. Should you feel that you need to stay a little longer or do an extra activity, this is possible at an extra cost.
